The aim of the library is to provide a centralized collection of print and nonprint material to support information needs of personnel of the Ministry of Education, schools and other formal and nonformal institutions.
Teachers can access resources from the library. These include various posters, charts and picture compositions. Additionally there are educational DVDs in the library.
Roly Poly Goes to School
Roly Poly Goes to School is a puppetry production that is performed by Media Resource Officers at primary schools across Barbados.
Development of Resources
Teachers can make requests for various charts to be produced by the department. For example quite recently a teacher requested that the department produce a chart on the parts of the body of an insect and make it available to schools.
